Position Summary:
Provide enrollment marketing strategy leadership for Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) and University Communications and Marketing (UCM) priorities for the university. Work closely with the Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management, the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing and other university leadership to develop enrollment marketing strategy to meet university enrollment goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field; and 5 years of experience working in Enrollment Marketing, Brand Marketing, Promotions and/or Communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee the successful implementation of marketing programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, edit and produce effective audience-specific marketing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams toward a common goal under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with campaign development and management within a Customer Relations Management system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated dependability and very strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-oriented management style.
  • Solid understanding of the organization and execution of print materials.
  • Experience overseeing digital media and digital marketing efforts (i.e. video, email, still photography, web, mobile applications and social media).


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree.
  • 8 or more years of related experience.
  • Experience supervising and managing staff.
  • Experience working in higher education marketing or youth marketing.
  • Understanding of the higher education landscape and challenges in the Pacific Northwest and Idaho.
  • Strong organization and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience overseeing marketing creative development.
  • Experience marketing events and other in-person experiences.
