Job Summary:
The Associate Vice President (AVP) for Admissions is the senior enrollment leader responsible for driving growth across Regis University's traditional undergraduate, post-traditional undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and international programs, with proven, extensive experience in traditional undergraduate and international recruitment required. This role develops and implements multi-year enrollment strategies aligned with institutional priorities, ensuring Regis attracts, admits, and enrolls mission-fit students from diverse backgrounds and across geographic regions.
The AVP leads a high-performing admissions team, partnering closely with Financial Aid to integrate aid modeling, packaging, and discounting strategies that support both access and revenue goals. The position also works collaboratively with academic leaders, student support services, and marketing partners to align recruitment efforts with program needs, institutional mission, and market opportunities.
The AVP manages vendor relationships, evaluates recruitment campaign performance using data and key metrics, and ensures operational excellence across all admissions processes. As a member of the enrollment leadership team, the AVP keeps the Vice President for Admissions, Financial Aid, Athletics, & University Marketing fully informed of opportunities, risks, and progress toward enrollment goals, and may present findings and recommendations to the President's Cabinet and Board of Trustees.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Enrollment Planning and Innovation
- Lead the development and execution of a dynamic, multi-year admissions strategy, with priority focus on traditional undergraduate and international recruitment, while ensuring robust strategies for post-traditional, graduate, and doctoral programs.
- Use predictive modeling, market research, demographic analysis, and funnel metrics to shape recruitment campaigns and assess ROI.
- Identify new markets, channels, and pipelines to grow domestic and international enrollment.
- Partner with University Marketing to align messaging, brand visibility, and CRM-driven recruitment journeys.
- Drive innovation through cross-campus partnerships, pilot programs, and technology integration.
Financial Aid Strategy and Student Access
- Serve as a key partner to the Office of Financial Aid in developing and executing tuition discounting strategies that balance affordability, equity, and net revenue goals.
- Analyze historical data, market sensitivity, and competitor strategies to inform merit aid models, need-based packaging, and financial aid leveraging.
- Collaborate on the creation of financial aid communications and tools that enhance transparency and clarity for prospective students and families.
- Ensure that financial aid awarding processes are integrated into the admissions funnel to support timely decision-making and yield conversion.
- Work to reduce barriers for first-generation, Pell-eligible, and underrepresented students by aligning aid strategy with inclusive access goals.
Leadership, Culture, and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and inspire a professional staff team with specialized expertise in traditional undergraduate, post-traditional, transfer, graduate, doctoral, and international recruitment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and performance excellence that reflects Regis' Jesuit values and student-first philosophy.
- Ensure clear expectations, performance feedback, and growth opportunities across all levels of the team.
- Support leadership development among direct reports and succession planning.
Vendor and External Partnership Oversight
- Provide oversight and evaluation of all third-party vendors supporting student search, lead generation, analytics, application platforms, and communications.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure deliverables are met and outcomes align with university priorities and ROI expectations.
- Represent Regis in national networks, conferences, and coalitions to share best practices and elevate institutional visibility.
Operations, Technology, and Process Improvement
- Optimize the use of Salesforce CRM and other systems to support efficient, scalable, and personalized student experiences.
- Oversee admissions operations workflows, ensuring integrity and consistency in file review, document management, and application processing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build effective data reporting systems that support strategic decision-making.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance student and staff experiences.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Regularly analyze funnel reports, lead sources, conversion metrics, and demographic trends to inform strategy.
- Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Keep the Vice President fully informed on enrollment progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare reports, insights, and recommendations for the Vice President, senior leadership, the President's Cabinet, or the Board of Trustees.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires weekend and/or evening work. In addition, some local, regional, and/or national travel is required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
-Significant, progressive leadership experience (8+ years) in higher education admissions with a demonstrated record of success in traditional undergraduate.
-Knowledge and experience in international, post-traditional undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral recruitment strategies.
-Expertise in enrollment strategy development, market analysis, and data-informed decision-making.
-Deep understanding of financial aid strategy, tuition discounting, and net tuition revenue optimization.
-Experience managing large teams and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven work environment.
-Strong fluency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), data visualization, and market analytics.
-Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to brief senior executives and governing boards.
-Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and work effectively across institutional silos.
-Experience managing third-party vendors and contractual relationships.
-Strategic problem-solver with the ability to innovate in a rapidly changing higher education landscape.
-High cultural competency to engage diverse domestic and international student populations.
-Balance of strategic vision and operational execution.
-Ability to create data-driven enrollment plans using analytics, market research, and ROI analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in higher education, business, or a related field.
-Familiarity with Jesuit or mission-driven higher education environments.
-Experience recruiting in multiple international regions.
-Record of enrollment growth in both domestic and international markets.

Pay Rate:
$105,000 to $120,000/annually commensurate with qualifications
