Reports to:Associate Vice President of Enrollment
Description:The Admissions Coordinator is an integral part of Carroll University's enrollment staff, which requires an enthusiastic, high energy individual, who is determined to see that prospective students and their families are served promptly, courteously, and appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule all campus visits for prospective students and families through campus visit software.
Respond to visit inquiries, serving as the point of contact through visit schedule.
Work closely with faculty, staff, coaches to accommodate needs of prospective students.
Assist with managing student visit coordinators.
Plan, coordinate and implement all Admission Office Open House Events.
Assist in coordination of high school/group visits and Overnight Visit Program
Assist in coordination of other Admissions events (Scholar day, etc.)
Monitor and respond to Admission phone calls and general Admission email account.
Coordinate/perform all data entry of first contact inquiries and specific contacts associated with the daily mail.
Collect, open, and distribute daily admission mail.
Input all incoming (mail associated) contacts with prospective students into the computer.
Maintain appearance of Welcome Center space, ensuring rooms and materials are prepared.
Perform additional duties as required
Ability to work some Saturday and evening hours
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High School Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Data entry experience desirable
Technology Skills:
Familiarity with computer software
Knowledge of CRM tools, spreadsheet and word processing.
Ability to use and maintain voicemail and e-mail
Human Relations Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and as a team member and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to detail.
