Admissions Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY
Admission Counselors are responsible for meeting enrollment goals and objectives for an assigned territory in each admissions cycle. While primarily responsible for an individually assigned territory. Admission counselors must work as a team to find, engage, and recruit prospective students and be the front-line ambassadors of Notre Dame College's brand. Admission Counselors must engage with prospective students and their families, both through timely response to questions or concerns, as well as through proactive relationship building.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Participates in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies as an active member of the recruitment team.
Understand and be prepared to clearly articulate NDC's mission, benefits, and key features of all academic programs, campus life opportunities, campus amenities, and any other key points of interest to prospective students, their families, and/or their college search counselors or representatives.
Attend all on-campus events throughout the year to develop and cultivate relationships with prospective students and their families and high school guidance counselors and independent guidance counselors.
Manage travel for a recruitment territory including event scheduling, attendance, and follow up data entry of prospects and event notes.
Ensure that all campus visitors are properly greeted, given an admission presentation and tour, and that their needs, questions, and concerns while on campus are all appropriately and thoroughly addressed.
Composes routine letters for the comprehensive communication plans.
Compile data for enrollment driver reports through inputting & retrieving data from Slate
Act as a front-line representative of Notre Dame College for prospective students and their families to answer questions, address concerns, and generally share the story of the benefits of receiving a NDC education.
Understand and be prepared to clearly respond to questions or concerns regarding financial aid.
Complete other duties or special assignments as assigned by the Supervisors. Examples may include, but are not limited to social media and marketing liaison, vendor liaison, content writer, peer trainer, etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferable from a four-year College or university

Experience: 0-2years' experience working in an undergraduate admissions office required. Experience as an undergraduate admissions intern, student ambassador or student volunteer experience and the ability to articulate the value of a liberal arts education is preferred, but not required.
