Position Description:
Under the guidance of the Senior Director of External Affairs, the Assistant Director, Alumni Relations will manage law school alumni projects and programs. The Assistant Director will be responsible for the strategy and execution of high-quality alumni programs and events, both virtual and in-person, with a particular focus on affinity programming including the UCLA Law Alumni from the MLS, LLM programs, the UCLA Law Alumni from Diversity student groups, UCLA Law Alumni from various geographic regions, other priority strategic areas. This role will require excellent volunteer, board, and events management. Additionally, the Assistant Director will be responsible for delivering consistent communication to the alumni community and advancing the online presence of the UCLA Law Alumni Relations program. This role will require excellent data management, analysis, and synthesis of donor and alumni information. This role will be responsible for developing partnerships that will further the mission of UCLA Law External Affairs. The Assistant Director will be a key role in supporting the engagement and data capture metrics of the External Affairs team and will work closely with development colleagues to achieve shared goals.
