Job Description
The Associate Director works closely with the Director in the oversight and management of the Student Services office within the College of Technology (CoT). This individual interacts with all departments within the college as well as departments and offices across the university at-large. The Associate Director aids in the management of college level admissions and retention efforts. This person must have a strong background and proficiency in computer/technical skills as there is a strong emphasis in data collection, management, organization, analysis, and completion of various reports. Key responsibilities include:
- This individual aids in the management of the Early Alert System (EAS), the primary retention initiative for CoT
- This individual manages event planning for Student Services, including BeRegistered!, New Student Orientation, etc.
- This individual provides the daily oversight and management of five to eight office staff and student employees, including annual reviews
- This individual must have experience in data management and analysis
- This individual actively participates in several institutional level committees as assigned by the Director
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one year experience in data integrity, analysis and dissemination
- Minimum of three years experience assisting faculty, staff, and students within a higher education academic setting
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating high attention to detail
- Strong reflective and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret/administer complex policies and procedures
- Excellent writing and speaking skills
- Master's degree in a related field
- Three years management experience
- Experience with CRM and SSMS student management systems
- Knowledge of the programs within the College of Technology
- Knowledge of Career Technical Education at-large

Salary will be between $52,000 and $56,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
