Associate Director of Admission (Coordinator of Access Initiatives)

Denison University seeks an experienced Associate Director of Admission. Reporting to the Director of Admission, this position supports the strategic plan of the University by developing, maintaining, and executing an active recruitment plan for underrepresented populations, including, but not limited to domestic students of color, first-generation college students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students from rural environments.

The Associate Director of Admission leads access initiatives for the Office of Admission. This includes responsibility for Denison's Fly-in Program, QuestBridge, Denison-Columbus Alliance, and partnerships with access-oriented community-based organizations.

In addition to coordinating the access initiatives for the Office of Admission, the Associate Director of Admission independently plans, executes, and evaluates all matters pertaining to student recruitment and counselor relations in an assigned geographic territory. This includes marketing Denison's academic experience to students and their parents through personal visits, presentations, and other forms of communication. Extensive travel is required.

A bachelor's degree and demonstrated successful experience in student recruitment or a closely related field is required. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate their ability to use the latest technology, including demonstrated experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system. Additionally, a current, valid driver's license is required. The successful candidate must be insurable under Denison's liability insurance policy.
